New 10 Week clinical trial on Jack3d safety 28/02/2012

Serious Supplements has been keeping you up to date with the recent University testing being funded by USP Labs, but conducted by independent researchers on the safety profile of Jack3d. Read a previous update here.

The latest published evidence entitled "Impact of a Dietary Supplement Containing 1,3-Dimethylamylamine on Blood Pressure and Bloodborne Markers of Health: a 10-Week Intervention Study'" is the latest round of peer reviewed research which suggests that when taken for 10 weeks as directed, Jack3d is not harmful for healthly men.

The study in question recruited 25 healthy male specimens and gave them either Jack3d or a placebo over a 10 week period on the days that they worked out. “Post intervention” they measured health markers such as liver and kidney function, as well as blood pressure and resting heart rate.

The researchers conclude the following:

Findings from the present study indicate that a dietarysupplement containing 1,3 dimethylamylamine consumed for a period of 10 weeks does not result in-a statistically significant-increase in resting heart rate or blood pressure in a sample of healthy men, nor does the supplement negatively impact bloodborne bio-markers of health.

It is great to see longer term studies with larger samples being conducted on the safety profile of supplements. Credit must be give to USP Labs for putting their "money where their mouth is".
