Jack3d Micro Now Available!
With Jack3d banned in Australia effective August 1, new hope is on the horizon for those of us who need a stimulant boost pre workout. The NEW Jack3d, Jack3d Micro has had excellent reviews during the beta testing phase with USP labs. Jack3d Micro contains different ingredients from the original Jack3d and Jack3d Micro will be minus the controversial DMAA ingredient.
Serious Supplements feels the new Jack3d Micro ingredients are a HUGE improvement on the old Jack3d. Citrulline and nitrates are both proven performance enhancers (both in Jack3d micro), and are well-dosed at 2 scoops. Agmatine provides a great pump and plays a nice regulatory role and could prevent detrimental blood pressure fluxes and the stimulant blend won't knock you off your feet. The combination of caffeine and higenamine (norcoclaurine) (in the testing Serious Supplements has conducted) will make you feel as if your lungs opens up and kicks your endurance into overdrive. Not just cardio endurance either, but being able to train longer with the iron (this is common with beta-agonists).
What's the difference?
Here is how we would describe the "energy" difference between Jack3d and Jack3d micro:
Jack3d Energy = wired, jittery with a post workout "crash".
Jack3d Micro Energy = A more calculated, focused effect, your endurance improves and so does your stamina. It's a different feel, the energy is smooth. The pump and intra set recovery is also great.
Jack3d Micro and the old Jack3d are completely different products. We feel Jack3d Micro is far superior for those individuals who are serious about getting the maximum out of their workouts. Sure, if you just "bs" in the gym and don't actually "train" anything but your jaw.....you might think this version is inferior to the old Jack3d.
But really....come on. Even little greenhorn highschooler's think the original Jack3d is the best thing that ever happened because its gets them all stimmed up. Jack3d Micro is something more.

DMAA - Not in Jack3d Micro
For the moment (at least in the USA) it appears as if the original Jack3d will remain for sale. Despite some recent studies showing that DMAA is NOT found in the Geranium plant, USP labs have released a study which definitively confirms the presence of DMAA naturally in the plant.
This news might be a relief to some supplement manufactures in the States, but it doesn't change the fact that Jack3d has been banned in Australia since August 1.
DMAA is found in Jack3d and a number of other pre workouts and fat burners have been added to the Shedule 9 poisons list in the same company as LSD, GHB and heroin. Members agreed that DMAA should be included as schedule 9 substance C for the following reasons:
- DMAA has no current accepted therapeutic use.
- DMAA has a stimulant effect which can induce a psychoactive effect.
- DMAA is being actively promoted and used as a party drug as well as a sportssupplement.
- There is no realevidence of dependence on DMAA.
- There are a number of significant adverse events including cardiac, nervous and psychiatric disorders that have been reported with use of DMAA including cerebral haemorrhage and heartattacks.
- The potential for misuse and abuse is high.
All of this despite recent studies on Jack3d safety, showing that DMAA is safe when used responsibly.
